What is Yokai?

Blueth Yokai is a free, open-source manga reader for Android based on the Tachiyomi/Mihon ecosystem. It ships with zero built-in manga sources. All content is accessed through extension packages that you install yourself from community-maintained repositories.

Yokai adds onboarding improvements and reader features on top of the upstream — guided repo setup, auto long-strip detection, auto-scroll with named speed presets, sleep timer, page bookmarks, and reading stats with streak tracking.

• 1,200+ extensions — compatible with the same community extension repos as Mihon and Tachiyomi.
• Auto long-strip detection — detects manhwa/manhua from genre tags and auto-switches to webtoon reader mode.
• Auto-scroll presets — named speed presets from 0.2x Bedtime to 3.0x Turbo, with a fine-tune slider.
• Sleep timer — 15/30/45/60 min timer that pauses auto-scroll and dims the screen.
• Page bookmarks — long-press to bookmark pages, jump back from manga details.
• Reading stats — 14-day chart, daily streaks, reading time tracking.
• Zero telemetry — no analytics, no Firebase, no ads. Your reading history stays on your device.
• CloudFlare bypass — extensions use WebView to pass CloudFlare challenges automatically.
• Backup compatibility — import Tachiyomi and Mihon backup files.
